Information for Members

The Association is run by a Committee made up by tenants. There are 4 officer positions – the chair, vice chair, treasurer and secretary in addition to the committee members. Here is a copy of the constitution –

When a tenant takes on a tenancy of a plot they agree to follow the rules and regulations of the Association. The rules and regulations can be found here –

In April 2024 members agreed to adopt a code of conduct which sets out the expectations of how to behave – a copy of the code can be found here

The Association has standing orders for

  • Committee meetings, AGMs/EGMs
  • Issuing tenancy agreements, managing tenancy files and the webiste and GDPR
  • Management of the waitings lists, allocation of plots and induction (including checklist)
  • Plot inspections and guidance emails
  • Treasurers duties and the association’s finances
  • Complaints and appeals

All the documents listed above have been agreed by tenants (AGM 2024) and are available from the secretary on request.
